Vintage Mechanical Animatronic Christmas Store Window Display. This is a wonderful vintage moving Christmas display featuring a young girl opening and closing a sparkly white and gold trimmed chest that could be filled with a variety of items from jewels to toys etc. I do not have any documentation as to its use as a store window display but it seems to fit the criteria and is my best guess.

This also appears to be an older vintage display my guess is the 50s or 60s but do not have anyway of actually determining its age. It does show signs of age and use with loss of paint finish, chips and soiling as would be expected of an item of this type age and use. The doll has had some fiberglass repairs to the body beneath the clothing and the motor and mechanics appear to be of the older type and also may have had repairs. The young girls face has some crazing from age and a few marks (see Pictures).

The toy chest and base platform are wood. I do not see any signs or marks of the maker.

The display sits on a wood base approximately 20 X 16 and its height when the young girl opens the chest reaches approximately 30. The young girls dress at the bottom reaches out to approximately 24wide.

The display is working however it is an older display and could require servicing or repair. I did operate it for over 4 hours and other than a few noises from the chest opening and motor rotating noise it appears to operate as an older display would. The display could use a some TLC. This vintage item uses AC power source 110-115V and should be checked by a qualified electrician before use. The turntable the display sits on or the toys are not included in the sale and are for photo purposes only the only item included in the sale is the animated display. Because condition is subjective please use the pictures to make your own determination as to condition as they are part of the description. I make an attempt to describe each item accurately.
