Vintage Kerr Pint Canning Jars, Caps & Lids Store Display

  
This is a vintage Kerr "Self-Sealing" canning jar store display. This display would have been used in a store to advertise the product and is made of pasteboard covered with a multi-colored print ad for Kerr jars, caps and lids. The display measures 9 inches square and 7 1/2 inches tall and is designed to hold a pint jar on top. The jar is a clear glass pint canning jar with a gold ring cap and lid. The jar measures 5 1/8 inches tall. This display has stains, contact marks, scrapes, scratches, edge wear and some tape residue. The jar has some minor stains. On the front of the jar in raised letters it reads Kerr "Self-Sealing" Mason. On the bottom in raised letters it reads 503 S3 24. May date back to the 1950s. A really cool collectible that you may not see very often!
