The display, lids and scales are made from Lucite in a very sleek art deco design with gold lettering. The Lucite is in good shape, there are a couple of chips here and there, a few chips on the lids, and scratches on the bottom of the display from being moved many times across the store counter. The powder inside is still bright in color and doesn't appear to have drawn moisture from many years of storage. There are specks of dirt and dust that has gotten into the powder over the years. This is a one-of-a-kind store display that was made by Henry Troemner of Philadelphia, PA.
The item weighs in at a total of 38 pounds. The scales are in good shape and still in working condition - see photos for a more accurate description. It is in as found estate sale condition and I'll leave any light dusting and cleaning up to the new owner as we do not want to risk damaging the item. If you LOVE this item, I'll be listing a large collection of vintage items this week, you won't want to miss out on these opportunities, check out my other listings!
