Vintage 1950s TOM'S Toasted Peanuts Glass Jar Store Display 10.5 Red Knob EXC. This is a really nice Tom's Roasted Peanuts glass jar with lid. The lid has a red painted knob with "Tom's" on both sides.

Clear glass jar, with blue triangle and lettering: "Enjoy Tom's Toasted Peanuts Delicious" and Prop. " 10.5" high including knob. This is a family heirloom - my dad's name was Tom, and he kept this on his desk in his office, full of Lorna Doone shortbread cookies, his favorite! I've kept it since he died in 2002, and finally realize I must pass it on in the midst of downsizing.

I'm hoping someone else will treasure it and continue its special legacy. Fill with your own favorite cookies!

Or, of course, use it to store other goodies or ingredients! Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
