I'd have take it apart to be sure, but I can't quite tell how the image is asfixed. I looks like a shadowbox type set up, with the front glass having nothing on it, like picture frame glass. Behind it is a gap of 1/8" -1/4", then another surface that looks like material that is stretched tight across the entire thing, like you'd stretch an art canvas over the stretchers. The gold letters have a little depth to them and it looks like yet another material applied to the black canvas-type surface.
Measures 16" x 9", overall. As can be seen, I did a quick rewire with an extension cord. I also bought a new bulb. The only one I could find that was the correct size was 75w. It got real hot real quick.
I'm sure there's an appropriate bulb out there, with a little more looking.
