Antique Toy Store Display Advertising OIL LAMP Victorian Musical Instrument Sign
Rare and wonderful late 19th Century advertising oil lamp from the toys and musical instruments department in a department store or from a smaller store specializing in those items. The advertising graphics are the same on both sides. The font is porcelain with a nice overall crazing in the glaze and the brass base is weighted.
The shade and chimney are good reproductions. The burner appears to be original and has not been tested for use. We do not se any significant condition issues or damage, but there are normal signs of age overall. Measures about 25 tall total.
