Antique 1922 Aridor Original Candy Caddy Octagon Glass Complete Lid Chicago 1922

  

The Original Candy Caddy by Aridor. This unique octagon shaped glass jar was designed and made to keep your hard candy fresh and dry. So back in the day your candy was never stuck together if stored in this jar. The jar is in excellent condition for its age. Very unique with air bubbles within the glass.

The lid does show some wear both inside and out. I tried to get the insert out of the lid with no luck and stopped so there would be no damage. The jar was made in Chicago, Illinois and patent pending August 15, 1922.

The jar is around 4" tall with a diameter of roughly 7".
