Antique 1800s Green Glass String Holder. Country Store Counter Top Display Tool.

Marked inside by string dispenser hole. Beehive ribbed design with hole in top. String would sit inside and pull from hole.

Measures approx 4 3/8" tall by 5 3/4" wide at bottom. Please view all pictures for more information. Piece would have originally had a metal threaded bottom. Underside edge shows wear and loss rough edge worn.

Interior underside shows glass loss along threaded area. Outer surface of piece shows nips small chips wear.
