1880s MELLOR & RITTENHOUSE LICORICE LOZENGES PHILADELPHIA RARE 1/2 GALLON JAR

  
This is a very rare Mellor & Rittenhouse Licorice Lozenges big hand blown glass counter jar from the 1880s.... I've seen a lot of the Mellor & Rittenhouse tins, but this is the only jar I've ever seen! THE MELLOR & RITTENHOUSE CO LICORICE LOZENGES PHILADELPHIA all boldly emb on front of jar.... Radish looking lozenges embossed hanging around the shoulder...

Half gallon or larger size.... Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage. Some normal roughness/chipping from when the lip was ground. A clean jar with only some old attic dust inside. This rare jar sat on the counter of a drugstore or general store with licorice lozenges inside....
